For many years The CLE Centre has operated in association with the UTS Faculty of Law – offering a year-round programme of seminars for practising lawyers.

But in recent times, we have greatly reduced our activities. And now we are stepping back altogether – handing over the baton to the Faculty at UTS, and helping them develop a new programme of short courses for the profession.

We shall be presenting the annual Armidale CLE Weekend in February, and a similar weekend in Albury in March, but after that our efforts will be confined to assisting the Faculty.

From 2012, UTS Law will offer an expanded CLE program at its Haymarket campus. This will include a number of topics and presenters previously offered through The CLE Centre, but will also feature a number of other practical short courses relevant to the profession.

A preliminary program for February and March 2012 will be announced shortly.
